US Housing Price

It looks like that the housing slump has years to go if the history reapeats like that in '91 -'95. The folloing graphs are based on the latest data (Oct, 2007) from S&P/Case-Shiller series.
I am from NW so I can understand the strong housing market in Seattle and Portland. What is going on in Charlotte?
